Wuliangye Sensory Evaluation

Observe: Wuliangye is colourless, but shiny and clear. Long and slow legs.

Smell: Place the glass under your nose 1-3cm away. Move it slightly to increase the aroma.

Taste: Take a small sip and let it travel through your tongue and warm up your palate. Taste the five characteristics of Wuliangye: acidity, sweetness, bitterness, spices and astringency. Appreciate the flavours as the aroma comes through your nose.

Discover: Take the second sip and let it build on top of your first sip. Discover the distinct layers from each sip and various flavours coming back through your nose, just like perfume.
